Weekend Plans
I'm so glad for these cooler temps and all this rain! Now if the rain wouldn't spoil too many of this weekend's fun activities...
Saturday
1. Soccer Shots Back to School Bash. 5p. Don Meisenheimer Park. Bounce houses, demos, face painting, Kona Ice. Fun way to spend a Saturday night!
2. Lego Build at Barnes and Noble at Parks Mall. 4p. Free. Ages 6 and up. Come build beautiful creations and engage in teamwork to do so!
3. Story time at Barnes and Noble at Parks Mall. 11a. Free. Mira Forecasts the Future. Coloring and activities to follow.
4. Tiny Tots Triathlon at Elzie Odom. $15 per child; must preregister. 10a. Rain or shine. If it's raining, kids will bike indoors.
5. Nutrition Kings (2230 W. Park Row Dr., Pantego) Grand Opening. Free bounce houses, bootcamp, dancing and contests. Fun!
6. Viridian Farmer's Market, 8a. Lots of local vendors and food. Be sure and watch the site for updates- this event may be canceled due to weather.
7. Lulupops Grand Opening. 3851 SW Green Oaks Blvd. From the event page: LuluPops by Lina's GRAND OPENING EVENT is coming soon...are you ready? August 20, 2016 and it's going to be AMAZING! Doors open at 10am. From 12pm to 2pm we will have Cinderella and Spider-Man at the store to interact and take pictures with you and your kids, we will have a face painter, music and a spinning wheel you can turn for discount and prizes! You do not want to miss this! Share on your wall and let's get ready to party!
Sunday is my birthday... Somebody have a glass (bottle?!) of red wine for me... Pretty please :)
