My kids are occupied with camps through the city all week- I'm trying not to be too obnoxious with my dance of joy ;)
Activities for Monday, June 27
1. Play days at the Southeast Branch of the APL. Loads of toys and fun for the 0-4 set. Free. 11a. (don't forget to stay for FREE lunch at 12p!)
2. Toddler Story Time at the Northeast Branch of the APL. Sing, dance and listen to stories. For kiddos age 18 months- 3. 10:15a.
3. Wee Read at the East Branch of the APL. Parent-child reading program for kids ages 3 and 4 and their caregivers. 10:30a.
4. Book Babies at Grand Prairie Library, 11a. Interactive story time for the littlest readers!
5. Bouncing Babies story time, 11a, Northeast Branch of the APL. For birth- 18 months. Stay for free lunch afterward!
6. Twilight Gaming for tweens and teens. Board games, Wii, Playstation. Free. 5p. East Branch of the APL.
7. Chess Club, 6:30p. Southwest Branch of the APL. For kids of all chess-playing abilities ages 7-14.
**Ongoing Monday activities**
These activities repeat each week
1. $1 movies at Studio Movie Grill. This week's feature is Wallace and Gromit. 11a.
2. Camp Creativity at Michael's. $5 per child. Any of the three area locations. 10a-12p. Make a new craft every time you attend!
3. Open Jump at Pump It Up. $8/child. Monday's times are 12:30p- 2p and 2:30p- 4p. Don't forget your socks!
4. Have you checked out area splash pads?! They ROCK for the younger kids! Brantley Hinshaw, California Lane and Don Misenheimer are great options in Arlington; Sonora Park in fabulous in Kennedale; Splash Factory is awesome in Grand Prairie (this one does cost $2/person).
5. Family Nights at Randol Mill Pool! $5 admission for everyone after 5p.
6. Jump from 10a-1p at Urban Air in Mansfield for just $12/person!
